It’s true that in recent years, celebrities have become more and more obsessed with time. And it’s not that celebrities are bad, they’re just more focused on the pastime, so they don’t have an agenda. The fact is, though, that these celebrity personalities do a lot of the things that they do because they are focused on getting what they want and not having to think about the future.
When I started noticing this trend among celebrities, I just had to come up with a list of five things that I wanted to accomplish with my life. I was able to come up with four, the last is where it gets interesting. I wanted to be a professional bodybuilder. Not because I couldn't get into it, but because I just couldn't do it. Not because I didn't want to improve my physique, but because I just wanted to be able to train hard.
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “What’s the big deal?
I want to improve my physique, and that’s all I do every day.” I’m thinking, seriously, what’s the big deal? When you actually look at yourself in the mirror, how much do you know about what you look like? And the answer is, not all that much.
As a bodybuilder, I think people get into it because they have a desire for it and because they are obsessed with it. A lot of people have the same experience. I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that I can bench press 450 pounds. I think it has everything to do with the fact that I could bench press 450 pounds and look like the biggest person around.
I think many people have the same idea about how they look. It’s like you’re being forced to take a picture of yourself at the gym, and everyone is taking pictures. So you have this constant, very intense focus on looking like you should be something other than you are, and it is so frustrating.
Celebrities often get obsessed with time.
They want to look their best. They want to be seen when they’re younger, but also in their later years. They want to be on the cover of all the magazines but also get the opportunity to do the same thing when they’re older. These people spend so much time focusing on how they look that they forget to be what they should be.
This obsession with looking good is so prevalent that it affects the way we live our daily lives. For example, I love wearing a dress to a meeting and sitting in the back. That's how I want to live my life, but it is a constant drain on me. I also have a tendency to obsess over clothes, and how a particular dress or accessory affects my mood or how I think of certain situations.
